A certificate is a collection of 12 or more credit hours of courses that center around a common discipline, field or competency.
How do I enroll in a certificate?
Because WSU’s microcredentials do not award degrees, you will need to fill out the undergraduate or graduate non-degree application. Please take notice if the badge or certificate is labeled as undergraduate or graduate, or speak to our microcredential specialists for more information.
Can I get financial aid for certificates?
These certificates are eligible for Title IV financial aid funding:

Can I use credits I earned prior to enrolling in a certificate program?
In some cases, previous coursework may be applicable whether that is work done at WSU or transferred in. Talk to our certificate enrollment specialist today to find out more.
Can I earn a certificate while working on a degree?
